Thanks. I shoot a recurve and im being drawn to a longbow. Thanks for explaining your thoughts. I think a 62″ is probably the longest i would like to go for treestand hunting. But im very interested in checking one out. Almost all tradbow hunting i see online is with a long bow, so there must be something to it.
I have to disagree when you talk about the speed of a longbow I currently own one of the fastest recurves made today a border covert Hunter it shoots in excess of 200 feet per second I also have recently switched mostly Longbow shooting I have an A&H acs 3 piece longbow. It also will shoot over 200 feet per second and it is much smoother to shoot and draw then the recurves
