1. I used to coon hunt all across the eastern half of the U.S. In pkc and ukc events. My dogs, and any decent dog, could ride on a hood of a truck with all the smells from a moving vehicle and would wind where coons had crossed the road. When they would bark we would release them and almost always would have a coon within a few minutes treed. Pretty amazing what a hound can do and a whitetails nose is even better!!
