This episode is all about today’s “just a doe mentality”. This subject was suggested to me by a listener and it got me thinking. Yes, I start this podcast with some basics just for pure principal but then I get into the interesting stuff and will make you look at hunting today differently.
This episode I will go into full detail about why we must practice with broadheads. I will then cover the best ways to do this as well as some quick and easy ways for those that don’t want to have to spend too much time with this process. Broadhead practice is a “must do” for all bowhunters. This episode will take it from quick and easy to all-inclusive.
This podcast talks about stump shooting and why it’s such an important part of our practice sessions. I also cover ways to make your stump shooting more beneficial as well as combining with covering new hunting grounds.
This episode I talk about post season scouting. Everything from the why to the how and all the stuff in between. This is for both snow areas and no snow areas. I will be doing a scouting podcast for other times of the year as well. But post season is now for most of us and this is one of the most important times to scout.
In the episode I talk about my personal opinion on owning multiple bows. I have owned many bows over the years and give my point of view on what you should strive for with commonalties, an efficient system, and what’s most beneficial.
Also note that starting with this podcast I will be doing one show per week for the next month and a half or so. With the holidays and my works schedule slowing down until late winter i won’t be making that commute every week. I do the podcast on that commute. I will make sure to do 1 show per week during this downtime and then when my busy season starts up again I will resume with 2 shows per week.
