Interesting points. Some areas just have abundance of deer. Here in NJ there are no signs of seasons being shortened. For example areas foe reg set 7, Bow seasons run from sept 8 to feb 28, crossbows allowed. Gun seasons(including muzzle loader and shotgun) run from Nov 26 to Feb 9 all with unlimited antlerless bag limit.
